Serious injuries sustained in two vehicle crash in DeKalb County


OSBORN, Mo. - Two people were seriously injured after a two vehicle crash in DeKalb County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened on Route J, six miles south of the town of Amity, at 10:13 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the Patrol's crash report, 91-year-old Jessie Hall of Amity was driving a 2009 Mercury that slid across the center of the snow covered roadway and struck the front bumper of a 2019 Hyundai.

The driver of the Hyundai suffered no injuries, but a passenger, 19-year-old Mark Donaldson of Stanberry, sustained serious injuries.

Hall, who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, suffered serious injuries as well. Hall and Donaldson were both transported to Mosaic by DeKalb Clinton ambulance.
